Re-opened in October 2024 after a prolonged closure, The Ship Inn has been re-vitalised and refreshed, bringing all the best parts of our well-loved pubs closer to the city centre.
Naturally, our signature Happy Hour is in full swing from open til' 8pm, boasting a delectable selection of £6 cocktails and affordable beer, cider and spirits. We're not short of in-house entertainment either: we have Shuffleboard and Darts areas as well as a downstairs venue with karaoke facilities, and we host a plethora of events ranging from open mics, pub quizzes and live music/DJs.

BARRELHOUSE, BRISTOL
Situated on Gordon Road in Clifton just a stone's throw from the University Union, Barrelhouse is a hub of live music, delicious drinks and weekly events. Not only that, but its kitchen is open 6 days a week serving fresh, handmade Detroit-style pizza. The happy hour runs all the way til' 10pm everyday, and the calendar is filled back-to-back with unmissable entertainment (not to mention its legendary New Years Eve party!).

A: From when we open until 8pm, Monday-Saturday.
Q: Are you dog friendly?
A: Yes, yes and yes!
Q: How do I book for Karaoke?
A: Karaoke hire is available in our downstairs area for £20 per hour. Please use the contact form below to enquire or ask a staff member for more details!
Q: Can I book out a space for my Christmas/office/birthday party etc.?
A: Absolutely! Use the contact form here or drop by and speak to a member of staff, we'd be more than happy to have you.
Q: Do you serve food?
A: We have a selection of snacks and nuts available from the bar; however if you're looking for something more filling, you can scan the QR code on our menus to order fresh Detroit Style Pizza directly from our sister venue Barrelhouse.
Q: Do you have a pub quiz?
A: We run a quiz every week on a Thursday at 7:30pm! Booking recommended - spots fill up fast!
Q: Do I need to pay to play shuffleboard and darts?
A: Shuffleboard is £5 per half hour, and darts is free to play. Both are first come first served.
Q: Do you offer Industry/NHS/Student discounts?
A: We do! Please bring valid ID, and you can claim 10% off your drinks bill. (Please note the discount cannot be applied to drinks already included in our happy hour deal.)
